He preached Santmat very boldly without any fear or under pressure. His basic teachings was God is within and can be sought through Meditation with the help of the Living Master, Guru. External Temple of worship, rituals, dogmas is a waste of time as God is nowhere outside but HE is within.Fanatics Brahmins around him could not tolerate this. He was burnt alive in his own house by the so called priestly class viz. Brahmins.
